Columbus has seen consistent growth over the past several decades which is a strong indicator of a region’s overall health. It is one of the nation’s fastest-growing large metropolitan areas and the fastest growing in both the Midwest and the state. Since 2010, Columbus’ population has grown by 15%, according to U.S. Census data, and its downtown population has grown by 12% just since 2020, according to the recent State of Downtown report, and it shows no signs of slowing!
