June Closed Transactions

June transactions remained steady with our brokerage department closing 17 transactions equating to more than 202,000 square feet.

For the third consecutive month, the Office Brokerage Group of Matt Gregory, Andy Dutcher, and Philip Bird had the largest overall transaction for the month. The team represented the tenant in signing the lease for Suite 300 at 2500 Farmers Drive, an 11,939-square-foot office suite. Overall, 52% of the month’s transactions were office sales or leases.

The Industrial Property Team of Curt Berlin, Matt Osowski and Blake DeCrane represented the tenant in the lease signed for a speculative warehouse development at 4744 Bridgeway Lane, making it the largest industrial transaction of the month.

In what is perhaps the month’s most unique building sale, Peter Merkle sold the historic Lilley Building in downtown Columbus. The 17,558 square foot mixed-use building located at 77-83 S. Fourth Street, was purchased for $2,075,000.00 by Braun Donnell through a 1031 exchange. The family-owned Central Ohio-based developer has renovated several buildings across Columbus.

Retail transactions made up about 17% of the month’s transactions, with the largest retail transaction being the sale of 1280-1290 Park Ave. West in Mansfield for $1.5 million by the team of Matt Gregory Andy Dutcher and Philip Bird.
