When Angela Zarate talks about leadership, she doesn’t start with metrics. She starts with people.
“I try to bring courage and vulnerability out of people,” she says. “That’s where growth begins.”
That belief defines her approach and will now shape her role as Vice President, Property Management at NAI Ohio Equities.
For Angela, leadership is about creating clarity, alignment, and trust.
“I love to cultivate a strong team culture,” she says. “When people feel supported and heard, the results follow.”
That philosophy perfectly aligns with NAI Ohio Equities’ commitment to being a people-first organization. It’s a culture rooted in communication, creativity, character, commitment, curiosity and collaboration.
In her new role, Angela will oversee operations at our New Albany office while focusing more broadly on strengthening communication and collaboration across property management.
She describes her role simply as turning vision into execution.
“My goal is to take the vision that’s already in place and bring it to life,” she says. “We have a lot of talent here. It’s about unlocking it.”
If we continue to strengthen and empower our team, growth and success will follow, she continued.
“My focus is shifting our mindset from ‘me, my, mine’ to ‘us’ and ‘we,’” she says. “From there, we can build a shared sense of pride, purpose, and accomplishment.”
