Matt Gregory, SIOR Receives CCIM Designation

NAI Ohio Equities, a member of the world’s premier managed network of commercial real estate firms is proud to announce that Matt Gregory has been awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by CCIM Institute. The designation was awarded during CCIM Institute’s annual governance meetings in Tampa.

Matt was among the 172 commercial real estate professionals who earned the designation by passing the CCIM Institute’s Comprehensive Examination, the final element in the designation process.

“We are proud of our agents for understanding the importance of furthering their education and learning within CCIM. This designation creates more value for our clients seeking to buy or sell income-producing properties,” explained Michael Simpson, President of NAI Ohio Equities.

To earn the CCIM designation, commercial real estate professionals must complete more than 160 hours of case-study driven education covering topics such as interest-based negotiation, financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, investment analysis, and ethics in commercial investment real estate. Candidates must also compile a portfolio demonstrating the depth of their commercial real estate experience and pass a comprehensive examination.

Gregory and his team are consistently one of the highest producers at NAI Ohio Equities, with last year completing over 78 transactions, 1,000,000 SF, and $72.5 M in volume in sales volume. Gregory has received the CoStar Power Broker award for top office leasing every year from 2011 to 2016 and top office sales in 2016. In earning the CCIM designation, he is now one of only 9 other Central Ohio commercial real estate agents with both the SIOR and CCIM designation.

He has been with NAI Ohio Equities for 15 years and is now Senior Vice President of Office Brokerage. He has held numerous volunteer positions including President of CCIIR, COCIE Governing Board, OAR Director and was the past Commercial Chair of the Columbus Realtors. Matt graduated in 2003 from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Art in Communication.
