Before joining Ohio Equities, Manofsky spent more than 24 years serving the Columbus-area commercial real estate community. Manofsky’s expertise in working with a large property management organization gives him the perspective needed to oversee the 14 million square feet under management by Ohio Equities, as well as the 8,000 managed units from condominium and home owner associations.
“Ohio Equities is a major player in this market, which means we are able to offer superior service to sophisticated real estate owners,” Manofsky said. “And because Ohio Equities’ brokerage business is so strong, our entire company is a good fit for those who want one source for acquiring, managing, leasing, and selling real estate assets.” Manofsky sees the potential to grow the property management portfolio to more than 20 million square feet within several years.
According to Ohio Equities president George “Sandy” Simpson, Manofsky offers the right experience at the right time. “We are fortunate to have someone with Chuck’s reputation for high-quality service and his ability to establish strategic alliances,” Simpson said. “Our clients have very high expectations, and they will respect Chuck’s abilities immensely.”
In other news at Ohio Equities, Angel Gee has earned her AMS designation (Association Management Specialist). As Director of Home Owner Association Management, Gee oversees more than 28 large associations now in the portfolio, making Ohio Equities one of only a few property management companies that specializes in working with home owner’s associations.
Ohio Equities was founded by Simpson in 1971 and is now recognized as the only major locally-owned commercial real estate company in central Ohio. •
